 Please tell us about your pet, Yeontan!

V: 연탄이 요즘 많이 먹어서 다이어트 시키고 있습니다. 연탄이 최근에 미용을 해서 이쁩니다.

V : Yeontan ate too much, so I put him on a diet. Yeontan also got his hair cut recently, so he’s very cute

연탄이가 부르면 잘 안 오는 것 같던데, 괜찮으신가요?

 Does he seem to respond poorly to you?

집 서열 중의 1위가 엄마라서 연탄이 곁에 엄마가 있을 때는 제가 불러도 잘 안옵니다. 하지만… 낯선 사람들이 있을 때는 제가 1순위입니다.

The boss in my family is my mom, so when Yeontan is around her, he doesn’t come when I call him But… I’m his no. 1 when he’s around strangers.

요즘 운동 열심히 하시던데, 운동 루틴 알려주세요!

You’ve been working out hard lately. What’s your workout routine!

운동 루틴은 제가 언제 한번 스토리에 공개한 적이 있어서 그거 봐주셨으면 좋겠습니다.

I had enough rest, so I just started working really hard.

Have you watched any good movies lately?

‘바비’ 봤습니다. 진짜 정말 최근에 본 영화 중 가장 임팩트가 셌던 영화였던 것 같아요.

I watched “Barbie”. Seriously, it really is the most impactful movie I’ve watched recently.

솔로 앨범을 준비 중이시던데, 재즈풍일까요?

 You’re preparing your solo album. Is it jazz-like?

비밀입니다…이때는 선공개 곡이 나왔을 때 아니에요? 그쵸? 네 맞습니다.

It’s a secret…Isn’t that when the pre-release track is already out? Right? Yes, it is!

앨범 준비는 어떻게 하고 있나요?

How are you getting ready for your album’s release?

스탠다드 재즈로 가기에는 어려움이 있어서 노래를 조금 대중적으로 많이 풀려고 노력했고 해가 질 때, 노을이 질 때, 그냥 드라이브할 때 뭔가 일하고 퇴근할 때 듣기 가장 좋은 음악입니다.

Standard jazz could be a bit too complex, so I tried to make my songs more contemporary and popular. When the sun’s setting, under the sunset, when you’re driving, when you get off work… That would be the best time to listen.

소통왕 뷔, 팬들과 어떤 소통할 예정인가요?

King of communication, V! How do you plan on engaging with your fan base?

아미분들이 심심할 때 보실 만한 콘텐츠들이 많아서 아미분들과 소통 창구를 많이 만들려고 정말 많이 찍고 있는 것 같아요.

There are many contents that ARMY can enjoy when they’re bored. I’m trying to make more communication channels for ARMY, so I’m shooting a lot of those contents.

파워풀한 방탄소년단 뷔의 모습을 기대하면 될까요?

Can I expect to see the charismatic BTS member V?

아니요 이번에는 전혀 방탄소년단 뷔라는 색깔은 가져가지 않는 것 같아요. 그건(방탄소년단 뷔) 저에게 있어서 특별함이라고 생각하기 때문에 방탄소년단 그룹으로 있을 때 뷔가 정말 빛나고 개인으로 있을 때 뷔의 또 다른 모습을 보여주고 싶어서 다양한 모습들을 준비했습니다!

No, this time… I’m completely different from the BTS V. I think BTS V is a special side of me. V in the group BTS can be brilliant, and V as a solo singer can show you something different. So I prepared many sides of me!

솔로 앨범을 선보이는 마지막 주자로서 멤버들에게 하고 싶은 말?

What message do you have for the other members as the last person to release a solo album?

방탄소년단 멤버들이 정말 많이 고생한 게 제가 지금 솔로 앨범 준비해 보니까 알겠고, 쉽지 않네요. 하지만! 어려운 만큼 오히려 솔로 앨범 준비가 재밌는 거 같아요. 신선하고 새롭고 다양한 모습으로 아미분들에게 다가갈 수 있어서 좋아해 주시면 전 두 발 뻗고 잠잘 수 있을 것 같아요. 아미분들이 많이 좋아해 주셨으면 좋겠어요.

BTS members went through so much. I learned that as I made my album. It’s not easy. But because it’s so hard, it makes the process more fun. Fresh and new,  I can show many sides of me to ARMY. I’d be able to sleep tight if they like my album. I hope ARMY would really enjoy my album.

평소 보부상 vs 미니멀리스트?

A peddler or a minimalist?

저는 가방을 잘 안 들고 다녀요. 미니멀

지갑, 휴대폰 외에 외출 필수 아이템은?

What are the essential items for going out other than a wallet and mobile phone?

제가 목걸이랑 팔찌는 샤워할 때도 하고 잘 때도 하는데 반지는 그게 안 돼서 계속 가지고 다니고 있습니다. 혹시 몰라서

I always keep my necklace and bracelet on even when I shower or sleep, but I can’t do that for my ring. So I always keep it with me, just in case.

최근 플렉스 한 게 있다면?

What have you been ‘flex’ lately?

아직 경매 중이라 가격을 계속 책정하고 있는데 ‘까르띠에 크래쉬 시계’, 크래쉬를 지금 구하고 있습니다. 완전 플렉스죠. 근데 못 구할 가능성이 있어서 열심히 노력 중.

It’s still on an auction, so it’s price is not settled yet… Cartier Crash watch. I’m trying to buy a Crash. Such a flex. But there’s a chance I can’t buy it. So I’m trying hard.

나의 첫 까르띠에는?

What is your first Cartier?

이제 돈을 처음 벌기 시작할 때, 돈을 모아서 처음으로 시계를 산 게 ‘까르띠에 탱크 루이’였습니다.

When I just started making money, I saved up and the first watch I bought was a Cartier Tank Louis.

오늘 촬영 함께한 까르띠에 아이템 중 가장 마음에 들었던 것은?

What was your favorite Cartier item today?

저는 이어링이 가장 예뻤던 것 같아요. 뭔가 저랑도 잘 맞고 클로즈업 했을 때, ‘팬더 드 까르띠에’ 이어링이랑 같이 착용하다 보면 뭔가 조금 더 멋있는 느낌?

I think the earrings were the best. They suit me,  and on a close-up, Panthre de Cartier earrings made me look a bit cooler?
